Tiana Sharifi is an internationally recognized Canadian expert in anti-sexual exploitation and human trafficking, with over a decade of experience leading frontline and prevention efforts. Based in Vancouver, Canada, she has worked directly with survivors, developed national curriculum, and trained thousands of professionals across education, law enforcement, nonprofit, and digital sectors.
Tiana’s leadership has shaped some of the most impactful prevention strategies across both in-person and digital spaces. As the Founder and CEO of the Center for Exploitation Education (ExEd), she has directly presented to over 200,000 individuals to date.
With a background in Psychology and Counselling, she brings trauma-informed, culturally responsive insight to issues of consent, vulnerability, gender-based violence, and online harm. Her work bridges systems: from classrooms to courtrooms, from parent trainings to policy advocacy.
Tiana has been invited to speak on national and international stages, advise government bodies, and partner with global platform, while remaining deeply grounded in the realities of those most affected by exploitation.
